How to be styled in the snow!

We got it here in Minnesota!  Winter has arrived with about a foot of snow, icy roads, and chilling temps.  We must bundle up and still head outside to live our lives.  Although most days staying in and cuddling up with coffee and the Today Show sound like the better option.  But when you have some great fleece lined leggings and cute bright hoodie, going outside isn't so painful!  I am obsessed with this pink cowl neck hoodie from Wish Boutique, and paired with these cozy printed leggings what more could you want in a winter look :)

Where to find casual tops!

Sometimes you just need a good shirt, am I right!?  Not everyday do I want to, or need to, put together an outfit that has a million layers and crazy pile-ons.  Sometime I just want to throw on a pair jeans, a great top, and be out the door.  And when you have a cute top, there is little you have to do in terms of accessorizing and styling.  The top should just speak for its self.  This can all come together when your shirt has great fabrication, good fit, and interesting details.  Ahhhh... but where to find such a garment to buy?  Of course at Wish Boutique!

1 Outfit and Scarf Styling 3 Ways!

Scarfs, scarfs, and more scarfs!  Seriously, they take over every woman's closet and the entire fashion world every fall!  No longer are scarfs a trend, they are a staple when it comes to style.  Here's the problem my clients run into though... Where do you buy good scarfs?  Am I right!  You want a good scarf that has the right style and perfect amount coziness.  Well let me tell you!  Wish Boutique has got the most perfectly soft, cozy, and stylish scarfs!!  Hello, look at the pictures.  I found 3 great scarfs and was able to style 1 outfit multiple ways.  I achieved a variety of looks using just the 1 accessory.  Buy changing out my layer and scarf it was easy to get different outfits from the same dress.

Everything You Should Be Wearing This Fall

Do you go into panic mode every time you hear about or read "What's in trend this season..."  Running through your closet inventory, having anxiety over the pieces you don't own.  And then you already feel defeated not knowing where to go shopping for all of these 'in-trend' things!  Well let's all take a breath, get grounded, and get back to reality!

Keeping up with all the fashion and style news is exhausting, I get it.  Even as a professional I find it difficult to keep up, and end up going back to basics most of the time anyways.  But what you might not realize is that you probably already own most of the 'must haves', it's just changing the way you wear them that keeps them current and up to date!

1. Layer, layer, layer!  Layers are always in trend, the more the better in some cases :)  I'm sure you have a black tee and cotton cardigan, right?  Just layer them up and add a splash of jewelry and you're instantly styled!

2.  Put a scarf on it!  Seriously, this accessory has transcended from being a trend to being a staple in every woman's wardrobe.  Layering a scarf with almost anything you own will give you a 'pinteresty' outfit helping you to feel cute and current!

3.  Texture can be tasteful.  Great jewelry or little leather is a great contrast to cotton.  A long metal necklace really pops against a smooth knit.  And get yourself in some leather!  Leather mixed with wool, cotton, or denim gives great contrast to any outfit.  This will help you feel styled and 'trendy'.
