Yes, I get so much inspiration for my self and clients from either real women or characters. So I thought I'd introduce you to one of my new obsessions (not in a creepy way), Joanna Gaines of HGTV 'Fixer Upper'. This show is currently in its first session with their second airing soon. I don't have cable, I just happen to stumble upon it one late night when I was living with soon to be in-laws. Now I have an insatiable hunger for more, watching episodes over and over and over again! I can't get enough of Joanna's great Texas style, or the amazing way Magnolia construction and design makes over homes. I now stalk (again, not in a creepy way), her style on Instagram and Facebook .
She wears the perfect combination of dresses, denim jackets, boots, and leather cuffs. She's the next big thing, trust me :) If you're looking for that perfectly polished style that's casual, yet put together, you'll want to see how she does it. She makes living on a farm, raising 4 kids, and running a business seem like a breeze.

Ladies - DRUMROLL PLEASE! I pride myself in trying to track down items and finding things. While I have come across many items that are close, but not it, I am glad to say that I found THE coat! The key was the removable fur. I do not like that look, and have been pretty picky when trying to find a coat similar to the one she wears, because it had a hood, but no fur. Key to what I was looking for.

Now, I will say that I found a jacket without the higher price tag at JCPenny's. Similar, but not it. This one you can remove the hood, but not just the fur.

The gray coat with hood id the j crew chateau coattail. I contacted the show last year and the told me it was from j crew. I found it on their website and ordered on e in the spring. They made it again this year. It's cut pretty big and you may need to size down. I am very happy with it but remove the fur.

Ok. Upon further research, that is not the top. The top I'm looking for and still cannot locate is dark navy, short sleeve, with deep orange or red embroidered embellishments. It's also a bit boxy. Season 3 episode 5.

Hi everyone!! I have been trying to hunt down a jacket Joanna has been wearing in many episodes of season 4, particularly the first few episodes of season 4... It's black, hip length, has a copper looking zipper and a black hood that looks like it could be removable. It looks like it might be a slim puffer coat, but could also be kind of a rain coat. It has a little tie on the back, about mid way down her back....Any idea what coat this is? I want it so bad!!!

In episode 52 that aired in December 2016, Jo wore a white collarless coat that I’ve been searching everywhere for, but have had no luck. It looks to be wool, with 3 buttons. Any ideas? I’d really appreciate it!
I've been trying to find where I can get a cognac colored leather jacket similar to what Joanna has. She wears it in multiple episodes. I've only been able to find jackets with big collars like a bomber jacket style, but I like how short the collar is on hers.
